Music Development Plan

Music Development Plan

Music is an integral part of life at Great Arley School.
Music helps children to express themselves, build confidence and develop creativity, whilst also supporting wellbeing and a sense of belonging. Through music, pupils learn to listen, collaborate and perform, skills which enrich their learning across the wider curriculum.

We provide a high-quality music education that is inclusive, engaging and progressive. Music is taught explicitly through planned lessons and enhanced through opportunities such as singing, performances and enrichment activities, ensuring all children can develop their musical skills and appreciation.

Please see the information below for further details about our Music Development Plan and how music is taught and celebrated across our school.
