Primary Yellow

Primary Yellow is a calm, focused learning environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. Led by Mrs Barnsley, our dedicated class teacher, we follow the formal Equals curriculum, which provides a structured and personalised approach to learning. This ensures that each pupil receives consistent, meaningful opportunities to develop key skills across all areas.

Our classroom is designed to promote independence, communication, and confidence. Daily routines are clear and purposeful, with activities carefully planned to meet individual learning goals. Whether working one-to-one, in small groups, or as a whole class, children are encouraged to engage, participate, and celebrate their progress.

We value strong partnerships with families and keep in touch through Class Dojo and ParentApp, while sharing achievements and learning journeys via Evidence for Learning (EFL). Swimming sessions every Wednesday add a splash of fun and physical development to our week!
