Primary Blue, a vibrant and nurturing learning environment at Great Arley School. Our class is a dynamic mix of Key Stage 2 children, led by Mrs Scott and supported by our dedicated teaching assistants, Miss Bond, Miss Flanders and Miss Bonell.
In Primary Blue, we follow the National Curriculum for Maths and English, while also embracing the Equals Formal Curriculum to provide a rich, inclusive learning experience tailored to the needs of our students. Our approach ensures that every child accesses a personalised curriculum designed to foster independence, confidence, and a love of lifelong learning.
We engage in a wide range of practical and sensory activities that support our pupils’ emotional, physical, and cognitive development. These experiences are carefully planned to enhance learning and provide meaningful opportunities to explore the world around them. Life skills are a key focus in our class, and we incorporate activities that promote independence, communication, and everyday functional skills.
We celebrate progress and achievements through the Evidence for Learning (EFL) app, where families can view visual updates of their child’s journey. Communication is key to our partnership with parents, and we stay connected via the Parents App and Class Dojo.
At the heart of Primary Blue is a commitment to positivity, kindness, and determination—values that guide us as we help every child dare to dream and aim to achieve.
