Led by our dedicated staff — Mrs Easton, Miss Rayner, and Mrs Bond, 4KE offers a vibrant and enriching learning environment where students thrive both academically and personally. Our curriculum includes AQA Entry Level English and Mathematics, the ASDAN Personal Development Programme, Careers and Experiencing Work and   Science Short Course, alongside the Trinity Arts Award, giving students a broad and balanced education.

Each week, students enjoy a varied timetable including English, Maths, PE, PSHE, RE, Careers, and Science, as well as our exciting Choice Curriculum in Dynamic Arts and Practical Skills. Students also take part in running a Tuck Shop as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award and complete Work Experience placements in the summer term, culminating in a memorable residential trip and Duke of Edinburgh Expedition.

We’re proud of our strong college links, with weekly sessions at Blackpool and the Fylde College and Myerscough College, in readiness for students’ next steps. We engage with employers throughout the year, who deliver employability skills and prepare students for their transition to Key Stage 5 and the world of work. Creativity flourishes in 4KE — students perform in the GAS Band, our school rock band, with incredible opportunities to play at venues such as Blackpool Opera House and Ribby Hall.

We look forward to another fantastic year of learning, growth, and achievement in 4KE!
