Class 3CH

3CH is home to one of our wonderful Year 8 classes supported by Miss Horrocks, Miss Davies and Miss Benn. Together, we work hard to create a supportive, exciting and inspiring environment to learn where every child feels valued and encouraged as they grow and learn. Throughout the year, pupils are encouraged to develop the skills necessary to become more inquisitive and independent learning, equipping them with the confidence to tackle challenges both in and out of the classroom.

We use Evidence for Learn (EfL) as our platform for sharing learning and we use ParentApp to share class letters and Dojo to share information about the class. If you ever have any questions or wish to share information with your child’s class teacher, you can do this via Dojo.

In 3CH, we follow the KS1 curriculum, and we use Red Rose Phonics to support your child’s phonics journey. We read a minimum of 3 times a week in class and encourage the children to access learning at home too! We place emphasis on resilience, inspiring the children to adopt a ‘have a go attitude’ towards their learning and encourage problem-solving. In 3CH, we are committed to ensuring that every student is empowered not only to achieve academically but also to grow as an individual, ready to embrace future challenges.
