A warm welcome to Class 3CBK

Mrs Sutcliffe

Miss Ben Slama

Mrs Hall
Dear Parents and Families, I am delighted to welcome you and your child to Class 3CBK!
Our class is made up of all Year 8 pupils, and together we will work to create a warm, supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to try their best, celebrate their successes, and learn from mistakes. We also aim to make lessons fun, creative, and engaging so that every child can enjoy their learning journey.
We are very lucky to have a dedicated team of adults supporting our class. This year, we welcome our apprentice teacher, Mrs Sutcliffe, who will be mentored by Mr Butler. Our wonderful teaching assistants are Miss Ben Slama and Mrs Hall, who will provide extra support and guidance to the children throughout the year.
Each term, we will explore a different creative curriculum topic. This year, the children will be learning about The Tudors, Lancashire, and Ancient Greece. In addition to these topics, the pupils will have the opportunity to work with specialist teachers for subjects including Design Technology, Cooking and Nutrition, Computing, Science, and Gardening.
To keep you updated, we will sometimes share pictures of your child’s learning on EfL. For any questions or concerns, you can contact us easily through Class Dojo. Communication between home and school is important, and we greatly value your partnership in supporting your child’s progress.
Together, let’s make this a wonderful year of learning, laughter, and success for Class 3CBK. We are so excited to begin this journey with your child and your family!
